As a child I remember my mom clipping coupons and we would get excited when we saved some money but I never thought about nor had I heard of ‘extreme couponing’ or ‘stockpiling’ until early last year when the tv show “Extreme Couponing” premiered. I was so taken by what I saw that immediately I knew this is something I wanted to do so I began checking all the coupon blog sites – which I had never heard of before until the show.
The more blogs I read, the more inspired I was to start my own frugal living blog and since then I feel like I have found my calling. I am now saving tons of money on just about everything. Before I knew any of this, I used to go to the grocery store and watch as the bill went higher and higher. I would ask myself every single time how come only a few days worth of food cost nearly $200 dollars. I was seriously baffled but now I have so much food that I rarely go the grocery store anymore and instead of standing in line feeling baffled, I am now amazed at how little a week and half worth of groceries adds up to!
Couponing is truly amazing and it really changed my life. I am no longer anxiously wait for payday because I still have money left over every month. What a difference coupons can make in your life.
